The London College of Beauty Therapy (LCBT) is London’s No.1 beauty college, founded in 1995 to provide specialist education in beauty, hair and makeup.
Our courses range from one-year Level 2 and Level 3 diplomas to gain the essential qualifications you need to start your career as a beauty therapist, hairdresser or make-up artist, to one-day short courses in areas such as lash enhancement and spray tanning, many of our courses are fully funded. We offer Level 4 courses for industry professionals who want to upskill.
We work with leading employers in beauty, hair and make-up to ensure you gain the skills you need to succeed and get valuable hands-on experience, you will learn from expert tutors with many years in industry.
LCBT has gained the Centre of Vocational Excellence for Retail and Beauty and Holistic Care. We hold the Training Quality Mark, the Leadership and Management Standard, and have won numerous awards for training and excellence.

We are proud that over 80% of our students’ progress onto higher education or into employment such as TV/Film, Salons/Spas, Cruise Ships, Gyms and Retail through the close links that LCBT’s in-house Job Shop has established with key employers and top brands in the industry. We also have a dedicated team to help students with CV writing and interview techniques to kick start their career.
We are looking for students that have passion in their chosen industry. We can teach the technical skills needed, develop your confidence and support you all the way. We welcome students from a variety of backgrounds and have a dedicated team to support any additional learning or welfare needs.
Work experience is invaluable to give you the skills and experience you need to secure your dream job. As part of our extensive enrichment programme you will be involved in external events, masterclasses, exhibitions, careers fairs and inspirational talks from experts in the industry.
LOCATION
Located in London’s Soho, the heart of central London is where the beauty, hair and make-up courses are trained using state of the art equipment. You will find us in between Carnaby Street and Oxford Circus. Fitness courses are offsite at our partner gym.
